Richard provides a range of valuation services for probate, sale, family division, estate planning, and insurance. He is based close to Bath, regularly visiting London and Wales on a weekly basis.

Richard’s expertise in valuation is complemented by his wife Carolyn, who heads a bespoke downsizing service called “MAKING MOVING MANAGEABLE”. Carolyn, together with Lisa Nicole, provides sound practical advice at what can be a very stressful time by listening to what the customer needs. Whether it is staging the property to come to the market or sorting out at probate level, her experienced team knows all about moving. Within her team are Stuart and Mike from Sheraton Carriers – who provide the muscle and humour(!) to make these moves work. They will arrange to move the saleable goods to auction, deliver items to family members and beneficiaries, and deliver to a worthy charity shop. When the property has been emptied of all saleable goods, they will carry out a full clearance before Carolyn and Lisa get out their mops and buckets!
Richard is also one of the UK’s most experienced and high-profile auctioneers and is available for hire for live auctions or as an auctioneer for fellow auctioneers who may need to engage his services due to holidays or sickness. Richard is available to help charities optimise their return at the live auction they are holding.
In addition to his valuation and auctioneering services, Richard also offers public speaking engagements.
